Sundays may 15, 22 June 5, 12 life room “A Path Home” is an 8-hour course to enhance your experience of Unity and membership at Unity of New Braunfels. This quick and easy journey will explore the Unity teachings, as well as your familiarity with our spiritual community and resources for spiritual development. Open to anyone that wants to explore what Unity means to them. ​ Our topics will include: ◦ A brief history of the New Thought and Unity Movements ◦ An overview of what Unity is ◦ Our five basic spiritual principles, practical applications and resources After completing this course, students will be able to: • Briefly describe the milestones in the development of the Unity movement • Discuss relationship between Unity of New Braunfels, other Unity churches, and the Unity Worldwide Movement. • Name the primary text of Unity • State the Unity Principles and relate them to their lives. • Develop a personal spiritual development plan

Labyrinth and Nature Sanctuary Labyrinth The labyrinth and Nature Sanctuary are located at the rear of the parking lot. Visitors are always welcome. ​ A labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. Nature Sanctuary The nature sanctuary is a peaceful inviting place, waiting for you. Butterflies, birds and deer come by to delight you with the presence of Spirit in nature. ​ Let your daily activities and thoughts slow down for just a bit. Enjoy bird watching, prayer, meditation, journaling and more.

Media Director, Owen Howson responds: Thanks to the teachings of Unity, I have become more aware that I have a choice every moment to choose again, to begin fresh. For many years I have incorporated this awareness into a daily ritual. Each morning, before I get out of bed, I think of some of the things I am most grateful for in my life. This establishes in my vision the vast carpet of blessings surrounding me. So when I go through the day and notice something that displeases me, I see it as small in perspective to the reality of my life. In that moment, I choose to begin anew, to see my world as it really is. ​ Music Director, Ron Brietzke responds: Every day I begin anew, taking with me my inward accomplishments of the previous day, being aware of those goals that I didn't grasp and starting fresh with meeting them on this new day. I know that there is no failure and I hold on to the belief that there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
